Mortgage rates in Georgia averaged 4.32% this week for fixed-rate mortgages of 30-year terms, reported mortgage data website HSH.com. This is lower than the previous week’s average of 4.27% for Georgia, and higher than the weekly mortgage rate of 4.23% across Georgia a month ago.
How do these rates stack up? Current mortgage rates for Georgia are higher than the national weekly average of 4.19%. Nebraska’s weekly rate of 5.25% was the highest of any state, while the 3.86% found in Arkansas was the lowest of any state nationally.
